The endoscopic facelift is typically used in younger patients
(35-65) with a minimal to moderate amount of excess skin. This
procedure eliminates the need for the traditional ear to ear and
hairline incisions found in the conventional facelift surgery. Good
candidates for the endoscopic brow and midfacelift will usually
have moderate excess skin and droop of the soft tissues which are
typical signs of aging in adults. As we age there are several
factors that affect our facial appearance these include: muscle
activity, genes, sun damage, nutrition, and gravity. The endoscopic
approach is used to create a more natural looking result with a
quicker recovery period.
